sketch export blurry pixelated png
HeyBraza spots whether it's the scale, a raster image, or off-pixel placement, and points at the fix.
your sketch export looks soft or jagged compared to the crisp canvas. it's usually the export scale, a low-res raster image inside, or layers sitting off the pixel grid - all fixable. here's how to tell which.
or do it yourself
- 1first confirm it's real - open the file at 100% in a browser or preview; many tools zoom past 100% and just look blurry.
- 2in the export preset, bump the size to 2x or 3x for a higher-resolution png.
- 3if a placed photo is the blurry part, it's a low-res raster - replace it with a larger source image; exporting bigger won't add detail.
- 4select the layer and round its x, y, width, and height to whole pixels - half-pixel positions blur on export.
- 5for icons and logos, export as svg or pdf instead of png so they stay sharp at any size.

why is my sketch export pixelated even at 1x?
either you're viewing it zoomed past 100%, the layer sits on half-pixels, or it contains a low-resolution raster image that can't be sharpened by exporting.
