how to import brushes in procreate
HeyBraza points at the hidden import button in your brush library and shows where the new set lands so the brushes don't vanish.
you bought or downloaded procreate brushes and now you're staring at a zip or a .brushset wondering where it goes. importing is easy once you know the one button - here's the path on your ipad, including the unzip step people miss.
short answer
unzip the download first if it's a .zip, then open your brush library, tap the '+' at the top-right and choose 'import'. the new set lands as a fresh group at the very top of the library - scroll up if you can't see it.
or do it yourself
- 1if your download is a .zip, open the files app, tap the zip once to unzip it, and find the .brush or .brushset inside.
- 2open procreate and tap the brush icon (top right) to open your brush library.
- 3tap the '+' at the very top-right of the library, then choose 'import'.
- 4browse to your .brush or .brushset file in the files app and tap it.
- 5the new set appears as a fresh group at the top of your brush library - scroll up if you don't see it.

where do imported brushes go in procreate?
a new brush set lands as its own group at the very top of the brush library - scroll to the top if it looks missing.
why won't my .brushset import?
it's usually still inside a zip - unzip it in the files app first, then import the .brush or .brushset file itself, not the zip.
