drag the colour swatch onto the area but don't lift your finger - a threshold bar appears at the top, and sliding right fills more. if it floods the whole canvas, your outline has a gap: close it, or set the line-art layer as a 'reference' layer and fill on a layer above.

- 1pick your color, then drag the color swatch from the top-right onto the area you want to fill.
- 2don't lift your finger - keep holding, and a 'colordrop threshold' bar appears across the top.
- 3slide your finger right to raise the threshold (fills more) or left to lower it (fills less), then release when the fill looks right.
- 4if it floods the whole canvas, your shape has a gap in its outline - close the line, or set the line-art layer as a 'reference' layer and fill on a layer above it.
- 5zoom in to spot tiny gaps where color is escaping and patch them before filling again.
