when affinity hides the end of your text and shows a red marker on the frame edge, the text isn't gone - the frame just can't hold it all (it's 'overset'). here's how to tell, and the three ways to get it back.

the red marker means there's more text than the frame can show. either make the frame bigger or reduce the font size, or click the flow triangle and draw a new linked frame for the overflow to continue into.
or do it yourself
- 1click the text frame with the move tool and look for the red overflow marker on its bottom-right edge - that means there's more text than fits.
- 2drag the frame's handles to make it bigger, or reduce the font size, so the overset text fits.
- 3to keep the size, click the bottom-right flow triangle and draw a new linked frame for the overflow to continue into.
- 4still see invisible text? check the text colour isn't white-on-white and that text wrap from a nearby image isn't pushing it out of view.
- 5turn on view menu → show → special characters to confirm the hidden text is really there.
