- 1select a text frame with the move tool so its outline and corner handles appear.
- 2click the small triangular text-flow button at the frame's bottom-right corner (the 'next' link).
- 3click inside an existing empty frame to link it, or drag on the page to draw a new linked frame.
- 4to chain many frames fast, hold cmd (mac) / ctrl (windows) and click the next button, then click each frame in order.
- 5turn on view menu → show → text flow to see the connecting lines between linked frames.
