premiere pro exported video has no sound

an export that comes out silent is almost always one of three things: the 'export audio' box is off, an audio track is muted, or the audio is routed to channels your player ignores. here's how to check each.
short answer
check that 'export audio' is ticked in the audio tab of export mode, then check the timeline track isn't muted - a blue 'm' in the track header. between them those two account for nearly every silent export.
or do it yourself
- 1in export mode, scroll to the 'audio' tab and make sure 'export audio' is ticked.
- 2back on the timeline, check the audio track header - if the 'm' (mute) button is blue, click it to unmute.
- 3make sure the track isn't soloed elsewhere and that the master meters move when you play.
- 4if one channel is silent, open 'clip' → 'audio channels' and route the clip to both left and right.
- 5re-export a short in/out range to confirm the sound is back before rendering the whole thing.
