- 1in the tools, click and hold the healing/retouch tool icon (the one with a small triangle) to open the flyout, then pick the 'inpainting brush tool'.
- 2for a non-destructive edit, add a new pixel layer above your photo.
- 3on the context toolbar, set the brush source to 'current and below' (or 'all layers') so it can sample the photo beneath.
- 4brush over the object you want gone - affinity fills it from the surrounding pixels when you release.
- 5for tricky areas near edges, switch to the clone brush and alt-click a clean source spot to paint over by hand.
