webflow · HeyBraza shows you
webflow form not sending email notifications
HeyBraza checks your form settings for a custom action or missing notification email and points at the exact field blocking your notifications.
a webflow form shows the success message but no email ever lands in your inbox. it's usually one of a few settings: a custom form action overriding webflow's handling, a missing notification address, or the site simply not published. here's how to get notifications flowing again.
or do it yourself
- 1confirm your site is published - forms only collect submissions on the live published site, not in the designer.
- 2go to site settings → forms and check that a notification email address is set; re-add it if it's blank.
- 3select the form, open its settings, and make sure the 'action' field is empty - a custom action sends data elsewhere and disables webflow's own emails.
- 4check the spam folder and your form submissions list (site settings → forms → submissions) to confirm entries are actually arriving.
- 5if you use a webhook or zapier/make integration, verify it's connected and re-publish after any change.

why am i not receiving emails from my webflow form?
usually a custom form action is overriding webflow's handler, or no notification address is set - empty the action field, re-add your email, and republish.
do webflow forms work before i publish?
no - forms only capture and notify on the published live site, so test there, not in the designer preview.
