framer · HeyBraza shows you
how to connect a custom domain in framer
HeyBraza points at framer's exact a and cname values and shows you where they go in your registrar's dns panel.
framer doesn't sell domains, so you connect one you already own by adding two dns records at your registrar. people get stuck because the records go in the wrong place or the status sits on 'pending'. here's exactly what to copy and where.
or do it yourself
- 1in framer, open site settings → domains and click 'add a custom domain', then type your domain.
- 2framer shows you an 'a' record (an ip) and a 'cname' record - keep this panel open.
- 3log in to your registrar (godaddy, namecheap, hostinger, squarespace…) and open its dns settings.
- 4replace or add the 'a' record for '@' and the 'cname' for 'www' with the exact values framer gave you, and delete any conflicting old records.
- 5back in framer, click 'verify' - it may say 'pending' for up to 24-48h while dns propagates.

why does my framer domain say 'invalid dns' or 'pending'?
your a/cname records don't match framer's yet, a conflicting old record is still there, or dns just hasn't propagated - give it up to 24-48 hours after fixing them.
does framer give me a domain?
no - you buy a domain from a registrar, then connect it to framer with the a and cname records framer provides.
